![]() ![]() Rather than trying to install a driver from some other source, it installed the actual AMD driver! Before finishing, it verified that the driver had been correctly installed, that it was sound too. ![]() It also looked at another driver that was out-of-date, a true AMD driver. Ashampoo® Driver Updater looked at the Ethernet driver and noted that it was current. Prior to using Ashampoo® Driver Updater, all that I tried insisted that my Ethernet driver was out-of-date and would attempt to accomplish the update which would fail every time because according to INTEL itself the driver already installed was the correct and current driver. I run an AMD Tower, frequently other Driver Update Apps will pick what they feel is the best driver, when it is not. This is not the case for some of its major competitors. Ashampoo® Driver Updater is excellent! The beauty of this app, beyond the care it takes to update and protect you from error, is that it really looks at your particular platform before doing anything. ![]()
